Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (D)
When you come to Tan Son Nhat Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer to hotel for check-in. You will have free time to relax after a long flight.
5:00 pm: After relaxing, the driver and tour guide will collect you at your hotel and start the first destination. Arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, you definitely cannot miss the experience of cruising on the Saigon River. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the city while enjoying Vietnamese cuisine on the boat. Besides, you will see the life of residents on both sides of the Saigon River, and feel the difference “On the dock under the boat” in the most modern city in the country.
9:15 pm: The tour ends. The driver will drop you off at your hotel.
Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels – Half-day City Tour (B, L)
8:00 am: The driver and guide will collect you at your hotel. Embark on a half-day adventure to Cu Chi Tunnels. Here you will be introduced by your guide to the construction and structure of the tunnels.
Have lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh.
Continuing the adventure, we will visit the Independence Palace, a landmark that symbolizes the reunification of Vietnam in 1975. The next destination will be the Old Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, both famous for the typical French colonial architecture they display.
War Remnants Museum will give you an overview of the Vietnam War.
Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Full-day Discover Mekong Delta (B, L)
7:30 am: Collect at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and start the trip to My Tho. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Con Thoi Son (Unicorn Island), go walking in the village paths to contemplate orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Be rowed in a small sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business & bee-keeping farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at the local restaurant. Break time.
The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta. Relaxing on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze is for those do not want to join the cycling trip.
5:00 pm: Got back to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Departure
Have a breakfast at the hotel and enjoy your free morning exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport for a flight to the next destination. End of our services.
