Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival – Cyclo Tour – Water Puppet Show – Night Train to Lao Cai (D)
When you arrive in Hanoi, the drivers at Noi Bai airport will greet you with enthusiasm and friendliness. Next, proceed to the lodging. We will visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s earliest university, to start the journey after a little break. We then ride a cyclo for an hour through the Old Quarter of Hanoi and see the water puppet show. Go out to a nearby restaurant for supper. Following that, you are picked up by our guide and taken to the Hanoi Railway Station in order to board the night train to Lao Cai.
Day 2: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Market – Sapa Town (B, L, D)
Take a train to Bac Ha Town at the Lao Cai train station, and stop halfway for breakfast. Afternoon hike to Ban Pho, the Hmong minority’s home; stop by a few local homes for a cup of corn wine; engage in conversation with the residents; hear their tales; and take in the stunning scenery as we make our way back to Lao Cai by detour to Bac Ha. Stay in Sapa for the night.
Day 3: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Muong Hoa Valley – Ta Van Village – Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Following the hotel’s light breakfast, we go out of Sapa and pass by the Sapa market and Cat Cat hamlet before arriving at the Black Hmong minority’s Y Linh Ho village, where we may stop for a quick lunch break. Following lunch, we go into Muong Hoa Valley to see the stunning green rice terraces. From there, we take a hiking trail to Ta Van Village, home to the Dzay minority.
We’ll take a vehicle back to Sapa from Ta Van village. then take a train to return to Lao Cai.
Stay overnight on the train.
Day 4: Ha Noi Free – Departure (B)
In the early morning, upon arrival in Ha Noi, you have a free morning to visit and shop at Ha Noi or leisure until our car arrives and takes us to the airport. End of our services!
