Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi arrival – city tour (D)
Welcome to Vietnam. Welcome to Hanoi. At Noi Bai airport, driver will pick you up and transfer to your hotel for check-in. You will have free time to relax for a long flight.
5:00 pm: Tour guide will meet you at the hotel and start to explore Hanoi City. The first destination, we will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam. Then we take an hour’s cyclo around Hanoi Old Quarter and enjoy the water puppet show. Have dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Ha Noi – Sapa By Bus With A Short Trek To Cat Cat Village (L, D)
6:30 – 7:00 am: Collect from your hotel, get on the big bus, and depart for Sapa. Follow the highway to Lao Cai City with the first comfort break. Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa.
Arrive in Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of the Hmong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic minorities.
Welcome drink and itinerary briefing.
Enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, and check-in procedures.
2.30 pm: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat village (When you come in Dec, you can enjoy blossoms in full bloom amidst the white snow) which is home to Black Hmong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for a photo with the bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for the bus to collect to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
The trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours.
5.00 pm: Come back to Sapa Town.
Have dinner and overnight in a hotel with night activities.
Day 3: Sapa – Ha Noi By Bus With A Long Trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L)
7.00 – 8.00 am: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room, and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Big luggage can be kept in a hotel). A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain after that heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.
The trekking distance is about 9 km and it lasts for 3.5 hours
11.30 am: The driver collects you at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.
12.30 – 1.30 pm: Have lunch in the hotel. Relax and leisure on your own, and have a shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want.
2.45 – 3.00 pm: Meet all group members at the hotel to get ready for Ha Noi.
3.30 pm: Get on the bus to go back to Ha Noi with two comfort breaks.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Departure (B)
You have a free morning to visit and shop at Ha Noi or leisure until our car arrives and takes us to the airport.
