Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival (D)

Welcome to Viet Nam. Welcome to Ha Noi. At Noi Bai Airport, you will be warmly welcome by driver. After that, transfer to your hotel for check-in. You will have time to relax after the long flight.

Have a dinner with Vietnamse specialty at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Ha Noi Half-Day City Tour – Halong (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

Start an energy morning, driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda. The next stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first college – Quoc Tu Giam, then roaming around Hoan Kiem Lake. Have lunch in a nice restaurant.

After lunch time, transfer to Halong Bay.

Overnight in Halong Bay.

Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closes on Monday and Friday morning.

Day 3: Halong – Ha Noi (B, L)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

You will have a chance to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay – the World’s Natural Wonder (about 6-hour boat trip).

In the afternoon, return to Ha Noi. The evening is reserved for the Water Puppet Show.

Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 4: Ha Noi – Hue (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

Driver will pick you up at the hotel and depart to the airport for flight to Hue. At Phu Bai Airpot, driver will meet you at the lobby and transfer to your hotel in Hue.

After check-in, you will have a trip to visit Hue City and Khai Dinh King’s Tomb: which is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. It was built for the Nguyễn Emperor Khải Định, the twelfth king of the Nguyễn dynasty. It was built from 1920 to 1931 taking 11 years to complete.

Day 5: Hue City Tour (B, L)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Driver and tour guide will pick you up and start the journey to Thien Mu Pagoda. You will have a take dragon boat trip cruise along the Perfume River for about 30 minutes. After that, the boat will stop at another boat station. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, which is the oldest pagoda in Hue City.

Then visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb: Considered the most majestic tomb of all royal tombs and has architecture in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945 with many attractive places to visit such as Flag Tower, Ngo Mon, Nine Dinh, Nine Dai Bac, Thai Hoa Palace and Forbidden City.

The tour ends with shopping at Dongba Market – Dong Ba Market is the biggest and most significant central market of Thua Thien Hue province.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

Driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer to Da Nang. Stop in Lang Co beach en route, taking photographs from HaiVan Pass. Visit to Marble Mountains. Have luch at a local restaurant.

Arrive in Hoi An. After check-in, you will have free time to relax or explore Hoi An Ancient Town by yourself.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

Tour guide will meet you at the lobby and start the journey to visit Hoi An Ancient Town. You will visit: the Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old House, Assembly Hall Chinese, Hoi An Museum, and Market.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang (B, L) Flight

Have a breakfast at your hotel.

After check-out, driver will meet you at the lobby and to Da Nang airport for flight to NhaTrang (10:10am – 11:30am), driver will pick you and escort you to the hotel.

Nha Trang is famous for its turquoise water, quiet and warm all year round, surrounded by archipelagos, islands, mountains and white sand beaches.

The left of the day is open for free sea bathing at NhaTrang beach.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 9: Nha Trang Boat Trip To Islands (B,l )

Have breakfast at your hotel.

8:00 am: Driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer to Cau Da harbour. The first destination is Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island – this place has many marine species of Nha Trang / Khanh Hoa province creating a miniature ocean world. Mun Island is a good island for snorkeling, where you can see a lot of colorful corals and fish. You will also be able to see the caves where sea swallows nest. Then relax, swim and play water sports or other activities at Hon Mot, Bai Tranh Island or on a small island called “Mini Beach”. Have a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will visit the fishing village before going ashore.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 10: Nha Trang – Da Lat (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

After check out, driver and tour guide will pick you up and departure to Da Lat – the charming city in Highland. The laneway from Nha Trang – Da Lat (around 150 km) is very sightworthy and photogenic with pinewoods, waterfalls, farms of tea and coffee, and “Picturesque” mountain pass (“Bellevue Pass” as named by the French early 20th century!)

On arrival. Visiting the Datanla waterfall, one of the most beautiful and imposing falls in Lam Dong, and Truc Lam Zen Monastery on Phoenix Mountain, one of the most beautiful temples in Viet Nam.

Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 11: Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

Driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer the first destination – the City Flower Garde. You will enjoy the glorious beauty of various types of flowers there then visit the Former Palace of Emperor Bao Dai – The last Emperor of Vietnam. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. You will pass through many immense coffee farms and rubber forests to reach HCMC.

HCMC is famous, called “Little Paris” during the French War and “The Pear of the Far East” during the US War.

Check in the hotel. Free and easy and overnight in HCMC.

Day 12: Half-Day City Tour – Cu Chi (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

8:00 am: Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. Depart from HCMC to Cu Chi tunnels. The tour guide gives you an overview introduction to Cu Chi and its legendary history. A documentary film about the tunnels will explain the tunnel’s histories and how fierce the war was in the area. You will be guided to the tunnels system, including the weapon factory, hospitals, and kitchens, crawl under the tunnels, etc. At the end of the tunnels, you can eat Cassava (called Khoai Mi), which is the main food for people during the war.

Say goodbye to the Cu Chi Tunnels, it takes you by car about one and a half hours to back to Saigon. You have lunch in a nice restaurant.

After lunch-time, you will take a half-day city tour to visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace. Learn about the history of Viet Nam through the resistance wars. You’ll later pay a quick visit to the neighboring historic post office and Notre Dame Cathedral. At the end of your tour stop at Ben Thanh market, the goods here are abundant, including almost all domestic products.

Overnight in HCMC.

Day 13: My Tho – Mekong Delta (B, L)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

8:00 am: Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. Leave HCMC for My Tho city (about 1.5 hours). Upon arriving in My Tho city, you will take a local motorboat and cross the Mekong River. Enjoy fresh coconut water on the boat. The first destination is Unicorn Island. You will have the opportunity to taste pure natural honey bee, bee pollen and bee royal jelly. The second location is Dragon Island, where you can see how locals make coconut candy and rice paper. This is a specialty product of Ben Tre province. Ride a horse-drawn carriage around the village for about 1.5km. Coming to the fruit garden, you can eat tropical fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, longan, royal banana. Listen to traditional folk music called Cai Luong. Next, you take a sampan, a hand-rowed boat, about 2km, exploring the rural daily life of local people inside the nipa palm forest. Have lunch at Turtle Island with special dishes.

At the end of the tour, you will stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest and most prominent pagoda in the delta. Return to HCMC.

Overnight in HCMC.

Day 14: Departure (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel. Free until transfer to airport for departure.
