Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival – Welcome Dinner
Greetings from Vietnam. Salutations from Ho Chi Minh City. The driver will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat Airport and take you to the hotel so you can check in. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to catch up on jet lag or independently explore the city.
You will board a small boat in the evening for a romantic dinner cruise that showcases Ho Chi Minh City’s beauty at night with the best ambiance.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Driver and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and start the journey to visit the Reunification Place, which was formerly the residence of South Vietnam. Then, we’ll go to the War Remnant Museum to witness a variety of relics, images and pictures from the second Indochina War. Visitdral and Notrre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Have lunch at a restaurant.
In the late afternoon, visit to Cu Chi Tunnels. The Viet Cong used the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground maze of tunnels, as cover from American air strikes during the Vietnam War (or “American War,” as it is referred to here). To have a better understanding of what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during the war, those who are inclined are invited to crawl into some of the tunnels. Once that is done, we make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: HCM – Mekong Delta – HCM – Fly to Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to begin the journey to My Tho. Visit the late 19th-century Vinh Trang Pagoda when you get there. Then go on the sampan and travel around the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands – four stunning islands. Visit Unicorn Island and stroll through the town while admiring the orchards, eating exotic fruits, and listening to the locals playing Vietnamese folk music. Observe the fruit farm. Enjoy a short sampan ride through the Thoi Son canal as you take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area, visit a beekeeping farm and the family business, and participate in workshops making honey tea and coconut candies.
Have lunch at the local restaurant.
Cycling around Tan Thach hamlet in the afternoon allows you to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life in the Mekong Delta. Those who do not want to participate in the cycling tour can relax in hammocks and take in the cool breeze.
Return to Saigon to catch the evening flight to the airport in Danang. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to Hoian.

Day 4: Hoi An – Tra Que village – Basket ball boat trip (B,L)
The tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a bicycle ride to a local farm in Tra Que Village. You’ll explore the vegetable garden, participate in soil preparation and fertilization, and prepare a lunch with local families. After lunch, you’ll learn Vietnamese vegetable harvesting and wrapping techniques.
At 2:00 pm, we visit Cam Thanh village, meet local fishermen, and experience daily life. We take a bamboo basket boat to the Cam Thanh water coconut forest. Join local fishermen on the river and enjoy hands-on experience in round-net and cast-net fishing.
Experience Vietnamese bamboo basket boat paddler racing, exploring peaceful coconut waterways, catching crabs and mussels, and making coconut leaf tools. Visit Hoi An’s ancient town, Nguyen Hoang night market, lantern street, and Hoai River.

Day 5: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Driver and tour guide will pick you up to visit Marble mountain and Monkey Mountains then drive northward to Hue over the 500m high Hai Van pass. From top of the pass, you can enjoy the whole vista of Danang, the Tien Sa seaport, Son Tra Peninsula, Cham island and long sandy beaches. A stop at scenic beach of Lang Co for a drink before proceeds to Hue.

Day 6: Hue full-day city tour – Fly to Ha Noi (B, L)
Have breakfast at hotel.
Driver and tour guide will pick you at your hotel and begin the journey in Hue. Take a boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hue, dating back to 1601. Explore the graves of Khai Dinh Tomb (1920 – 1931). Have lunch at a restaurant.
After lunch time, continue the journey to visit the Imperial Citadel. Dong Ba market shopping marks the end of the journey.
After visiting, you will be transferred to Hue airport for your flight to Ha Noi. Upon your arrival to Ha Noi, our driver will pick up you and transfer you to your hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 7: Ha Noi full-day tour (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
08:30 am: Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the Temple of Literature, a garden walk to Khue Van Cac, exploration of Quoc Tu Giam, visit to various museums.
Have lunch at a restaurant.
The afternoon tour includes visiting Hanoi’s French Quarter, Ho Chi Minh City’s mausoleum, botanical gardens, the Presidential Palace, and the One-Pagoda. The tour takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on the number of travelers.
Visit the Quan Thanh temple, a significant Taoist temple, and enjoy a romantic walk across the West Lake. Visit the Tran Quoc pagoda, dating back to the 6th century, and experience a traditional water puppet performance before returning to your hotel.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 8: Ha Noi – Halong Bay cruise (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
07:45 – 08:30 am: You will be picked up from your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. Then we will head to Ha Long Bay. You may enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta along the way.
11:30 am: Upon arriving in our lobby in Tuan Chau Marina, you may take a short stretch while our staff arranges all registration with the local government.
12:00 – 12:30 pm: The cruise captain and staff will welcome you onboard LE JOURNEY CRUISE after a short tender transfer. While enjoying a refreshing welcome drink, a short cruise briefing and safety instructions will be given.
12:30 – 1:00 pm: LE JOURNEY CRUISE voyages to Ha Long Bay – one of the New Seven Nature Wonders of the World. Lunch is served on board while the cruise passes via amazing limestone karst formations that rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.
2:00 – 2:30 pm: You will leave the cruise to explore Sung Sot Cave (also known as Surprise/ Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.
3:00 pm: Returning to LE JOURNEY CRUISE, the trip will continue to TiTop Island. Here, you can watch the magnificent view over either the Gulf of Tonkin or swim in the emerald green and cool water.
5:00 pm: After a long day, this is the ideal time to enjoy energizing drinks and snacks by joining ‘Happy Hour’ or Cooking Class on the sundeck.
7:30 pm: Sumptuous Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff.
8:30 pm: After dinner, various activities including karaoke, and squid fishing are organized. Or you can just laze around with exhilarating drinks from our bar. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.
Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)
06:15 – 07:00 am: Breakfast is served. It can be a great idea to enjoy the meal with the magnificent view of the sunrise in Ha Long Bay.
8.00 – 9.30 am: The cruise gets closer to the center of the Natural Preservation Area. Join our guide on a short trip to Luon Cave. This magic work of nature shows you the formation of karst mountains. You can discover this time masterpiece by kayaking on your own. If you are lucky, you can catch great photos with mischievous monkeys jigging up and down around the cliffs.
9:30 am: LE JOURNEY Cruise welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.
10:00 am: Whilst cruising back, delightful lunch will be served.
11:35 am: We return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark in Tuan Chau Marina. And leave for Ha Noi on our shuttle.
3:30 – 4:00 pm: You will get back to your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter

Day 10: Ha Noi – Departure (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Free and relax at your hotel until getting pick up by driver for about 45 minutes to Ha Noi airport.
