The War Remnants Museum: This somber exhibit highlights how pointless war is.
Take a stroll around the roomy hallways of the immaculately restored Reunification Palace, formerly the president of South Vietnam’s Independence Palace. On April 30, 1975, tanks famously stormed the structure, signaling the end of South Vietnam.
Take in the 19th-century structures’ classical French-colonial architecture, such as that of Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Centre Post Office.
Go to the Thien Hau Pagoda in Chinatown, which was constructed by the early Chinese settlers and is today a revered place of devotion.
