Only 60 kilometers to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City are the Cu Chi Tunnels. Mekong cruises travel via 4 islands: Long (Dragon), Lân (Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), and Phung (Phoenix). Visit the floating house in the river and a distinctive feature of the South. Enjoy a BBQ while receiving cooking instruction from a local chef.
At your hotel, driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you to the Cu Chi tunnels.
After an hour and a half of traveling to get to Cu Chi hamlet, you learn more about how the Viet Cong built it, how we won the war despite having little food or medicine, and the precise events that took place there during the war.
During the Viet Nam War, the Cu Chi Tunnels served as a safe haven for thousands of Vietnamese people.
Finish the Cu Chi Tunnels trip, then continuing on to the Mekong delta.
Have lunch in Tien Giang.
Afterward, board a boat and travel along the Mekong River to the bee farm. You can take pleasure in the honey tee and take pictures with pythons and finger bananas, which are typical of the Mekong Delta.
Enjoy “Đờn Ca Tài Tử” – a distinctive aspect of Southern culture – at the local house of culture before visiting the coconut candy factory to observe how the farmer manufactures coconut sweets will help you unwind.
Pass a fishing community with many floating homes on the way back in your bus where you may observe the manner of life of a fisherman.
Return to the city of Ho Chi Minh. End of the tour at your hotel or your place.
