Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival (D)
At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, driver will pick up you and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at a restaurant that floats on the Sai Gon River.
5:30 pm: After resting at the hotel, the driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the harbor. You will get a taste of Ho Chi Minh City’s nightlife. A sail down the Saigon River is an essential thing to do when visiting this place. While dining on Vietnamese food on the boat, you can take in the stunning view of the city. Additionally, you will see daily life on both banks of the Saigon River and experience the distinction “On the Wharf under the Boat” in the nation’s most advanced metropolis.
9:30 pm: Bach Dang harbor is where the passengers are dropped off.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
8:00 am: You will be picked up at the hotel by the driver and tour guide, who will then begin traveling to the first stop. Leave Saigon and go to the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the most well-known historical artifacts from the Vietnam War. Over 200 kilometers of tunnels connected in the form of a spider web make up its network. There’s a kitchen, a medical area (a makeshift clinic), a command center, a conference room, and so forth, all located inside the tunnels. It is also possible to savor the staple meal of the people throughout the war: Khoai Mi (cassava).
Leave Cu Chi tunnels, we will return to Saigon. Have lunch in a restaurant.
PM: After lunch. You will take a city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh City.
Continue the journey in Ho Chi Minh City, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Norodom Palace, and Independence Palace. Discover the activities war during the US war. Visit the War Museum where is an interesting collection of American Weapons.
At the end of your tour stop at Ben Thanh market, the goods here are abundant, including almost all domestic products.
Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: My Tho (Mekong Delta) (B, L)
Have a breakfast at your hotel.
8:00 am: At the hotel, you will be picked up by the driver and tour guide. As you go from Sai Gon to My Tho city, you will pass through little villages, rice fields, and orchards. The Mekong Delta is characterized by these features.
After reaching My Tho city, you will board a local speedboat to traverse the 4,800-kilometer-long Mekong River, which flows through China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Savor the sweet coconut water while sailing. You will be able to sample pure natural honey bee, bee pollen, and bee royal jelly on your first visit to Unicorn Island. The second boat stop is Dragon Island, where you may see the villagers making rice paper and coconut candies. This product is unique to the province of Ben Tre. You stroll through the hamlet and cross the Monkey Bridge before taking a horse-drawn carriage around it. You may enjoy tropical fruits, including pineapple, watermelon, longan, and royal bananas, at the fruit garden while also taking in the sounds of Cai Luong, a traditional folk song.
Have lunch on the Turtle Island with the special food such as Elephant Ear fish, etc
Back to Harbor for 2 hours back Sai Gon. Night at Hotel.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hoi An (B) By Flight
Have a breakfast at your hotel.
You will be picked up at your hotel by the driver. Transfer to the international airport in Tan Son Nhat for flying to Da Nang.
PM: Visit Ngu Hanh Son Stone Village (handicrafts) and Da Nang Beach. Travel to the south of Da Nang in central Vietnam to see the World Cultural Heritage Site of Hoi An Ancient Town.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An – My Son – Hue (B, L, D)
7:30-8:00 am: Our guide picks you up at your hotel and departs to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.
9:30 am: Arrive at My Son we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking through the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances. Back to the van and have lunch at a local house. Relax with nice food and fresh air. Take a boat trip to Hoi An with the nice and cool breeze onboard and beautiful scenery on the biggest river in Central Vietnam named Thu Bon River.
1:30 pm: Arrive in Hoi An, we will drop you off at your hotel.
PM: Your driver will come to pick you up and take you to Hue. While traveling, we’ll make stops at several stunning locations, like: The 21-kilometer-long Hai Van Pass is a mountain pass in Vietnam that is located on National Route 1A. It is one of Vietnam’s most picturesque hillside roads and the natural boundary between Da Nang City and Thua Thien Hue Province.
Free time for dinner and night in Hue – The Old Capital.
Day 6: Hue City Tour – Ha Noi (B, L, D) (Night Train)
Spend the entire day at The Old Capital.
AM: Boat journey on the Perfume River to visit a town where conical hats are made and bronze is cast. Visit the Imperial Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda, which are both regarded as royal pagodas of the Nguyen Dynasty. Lunch.
PM: Pay a visit to Khai Dinh King’s tombs. Visit a typical garden house in Hue (also known as the “city of gardens”). Go to the Dong Ba market. Hue’s lunch and dinner 16h47 Travel to Hanoi on the E2 train. Spend the night in a cozy sleeper aboard train E2 to Hanoi.
Day 7: Ha Noi – Ba Khan – Tan Mai (B, L, D)
You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and will begin at Tan Mai-Mai Chau. It requires roughly 4 hours.
On the road to Ba Khan, a brief rest stop From there, you can observe the landscape surrounding the Da River, often known as Halong. It is incredible.
Arrival at the Suoi Lon-Tan Mai homestay Lunch at the homestay
Take a boat journey down the Da River to the Thac Bo Temple and Thac Bo Cave in the afternoon.

Day 8: Ba Khan Forest – Mai Chau – Ha Noi (B, L )
5:00 – 6:00 am: You can get up early to view the sunrise. You’ll have enduring recollections of Tan Mai. Have homestay’s breakfast.
Travel to Ba Khan. From Tan Mai, it takes about 20 minutes. Around 1.5 hours of hiking to Ba Khan Forest. You may find and admire a variety of various tree species in this forest. Then, at the base of the Ba Khan forest, you get the opportunity to see an ethnic family’s home. Consequently, you will be able to comprehend more about the lives of the local ethnic people.
Lunch transfer to Mai Chau
You have time to bike around Mai Chau to explore the village after lunch.
Return to Hanoi. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi
Day 9: Ha Noi City Tour (B, L )
Have breakfast at your hotel.
8:00 am: Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s House-on-stilt, Ethnic Museum or Bat Trang pottery village, Van Mieu (Temple of Literature). Have a lunch at a restaurant.
PM: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. Cyclo tour (2 hours) to visit the Old Quarter of Ha Noi and Dong Xuan Market. Night in Ha Noi.
Notes:
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closes on Monday and Friday morning.
- The itinerary can be changed due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions.
- Bat Trang pottery village will be visited on Mon, Wed & Fri (without Ethnology Museum). Ethnology Museum will be visited on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat (without Bat Trang pottery village).
Day 10: Ha Noi – Halong (B, L, D)
08:00 – 08:30 am: Pick up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Hong Gai Tourist Wharf, check-in Oriental Sails JSC’s private waiting hall – The OS Lounge.
12:30 – 1:00 pm: Embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing.
1:00 – 3:30 pm: Savor a delectable lunch as Oriental Sails cruises further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay.
3:30 – 4:30 pm: You are free to choose one of the below options:
Option 1: Fishing village visit
Those who are interested in local daily life: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip (around 45 minutes) around Vung Vieng fishing village – one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen. The village is set in a closed lagoon, surrounded by mountains, an excellent setting for some good photos.
Option 2: Beach and kayaking
For those who like some water activities and beach. The tender shall take you to Ban Chan Beach, where you can enjoy yourself on the beach, swimming or playing volleyball, etc. or try your hands at some kayaking in the magnificent setting of Halong Bay.
4:30 – 5:30 pm: Return to Oriental Sails and have a bath then relax as the sun starts to set.
5:30 – 7:00 pm: Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck and take part in our cooking class with Oriental Sails Chef.
7:00 pm: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, do night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 10:00 pm.
Overnight on board at Cong Do Area.
Day 11: Halong – Hanoi (B, L )
06:30 – 07:00 am: Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck.
07:00 – 09:00 am: Catch a morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, and have breakfast while cruising.
09:00 – 09:30 am: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave – the medium-sized and less visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay
09:30 – 10:00 am: Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area.
10:00 – 11:00 am: Head back to the Harbor. Have early lunch on board.
Disembark Oriental Sails at around 12:00 pm.
12:00 – 4:30 pm: Transfer back to Hanoi and the trip finishes at the hotel around 4:30pm. Night in Ha Noi.
Day 12: Ha Noi – Departure (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel. You will have free time to relax or shopping. Check out your hotel and driver will pick you up and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure.
