Tour Itinerary
Day 1: HCMC arrival (D)
A driver will be waiting for you when you land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport to take you to your hotel, where you’ll spend the night after a quick city tour and dinner at a floating restaurant on the Sai Gon River.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong, and My Tho (B, L)
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Travel by car to Tien Giang Province, one of the 11 provinces that make up the Mekong Delta, to see My Tho Town. Mekong River boat ride to see a farmer’s home and garden Lunch was served on a river island. Visit a farm that raises bees or makes coconut candies. Return to Hochiminh City by driving. Visit the Cao Dai Temple in Long An Town if you’re curious about this weird religion that’s practiced there
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Tour: Cu Chi – Hue City (B, L) By Flight
Have breafast at your hotel.
Visit the War Museum and Reunification Palace. An elegant restaurant is where lunch will be scheduled. In the afternoon, visit the Cu Chi tunnel. Back in Saigon at 6:00 pm.
Collection and transportation to the hotel Hue’s specialty is your dinner. Spend the night in a hotel.
Overnight in Hue City.
Day 4: Hue – Hanoi (B, L) by Night Train
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and start the journey. A boat trip to the graves of Khai Dinh Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda. During the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel. Dong Ba Market shopping marks the end of the journey. At the restaurant for dinner, transfer to the train station after pickup. Travel to Hanoi by train at night.
Spend the night in a cabin with four comfy beds and air conditioning.
Day 5: Hanoi (B, L)
Reach the train station in the morning. (Hotel check-in is at 12:00 pm) Pickup and transfer to the restaurant for breakfast at 8:00 am. Take a coach ride through the Hanoi Old Quarters, stop at Dong Xuan Market, then continue to the Old Citadel after visiting Ngoc Son Temple. Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Museum. Continue to explore Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
PM: Continue to the Ethnology Museum after lunch. Continue to Quoc Tu Giam and the Literature Temple. The water puppet show is excellent.
Overnight in Hanoi City.
Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
7:00 am: Pick-up from your Hanoi hotel Travel to Halong Bay.
11:00 am: Arrive in Halong Bay. The Thien Cung and Dau Go caverns are accessible by boat and take around 5 hours to explore.
4:00 pm: Back to Hanoi.
7:00 pm: Get there in Hanoi. In the evening, free time. Hotel stay the night in Hanoi
Day 7: Hanoi Departure (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport.
